A significant cultural item: cuff bracelet in silver made as dowry.For the dowry, the bride was literally weighed down with silver ornamentation. Rings were made in matching pairs; so with bracelets and anklets. Bracelets were made to fit along each arm, even above the elbow.
This particular bracelet must have been made to fit a certain bride's wrist.Thus,in those time "custom fitting" was a common tradition.
Most of the silversmiths were removed from Turkmenistan after the partition , so this work is no longer being done,so this would be an important addition to your collection or your adornment.
