Inspired by the alluring jewelry making traditions of the past, this marvelous necklace is a tribute to the unrecognized artisans of South east Asia.
I picked two completely opposite elements while designing this piece. Fabric and metal. The fusion of these two created a dazzling beauty that is both aesthetically pleasing and yet sturdy enough to be a heirloom.
Construction:
The necklace is entirely hand made, metal pieces taken and hammered and then joined together with ropes of hand weaved thread.
