I find myself fascinated with jewelry from all around the world, but as every jewelry lover might know South Asian jewelry is a class apart when it comes to vintage finds because of its rich historical background.

The Banjara Earring is a classic example of Old Indian traditional jewelry specially originating from Rajastan,India.

The most delicate step for silver jewelry is the lost wax method where, wax is shaped to the design of the jewelry to be made. This wax-like material, which is normally invested and cast into silver as a master pattern. The silver master pattern is then used to make a mould for casting. The artisans start with placing the pattern master between two sheets of rubber and secure the resulting sandwich in a metal frame and heat it.

This masterpiece listed is my personal favorite and a must have!
