Another beautiful high quality vintage choker from the land of Gujrat India.The necklace belonged to a Rabari Tribal woman.Rabari tribe of Rajhastan is famous for its ethnically rich culture,clothes and jewelry.
The women of the tribe almost always wear heavy silver/gold jewelry according to their status.The pieces of jewelry which are of either of silver or gold are made by the goldsmith in the village and some are decorated with colored glass but never with stones. Most of the jewelry pieces are old as they are passed down as heirlooms.
